The Electrical and Automation Supervisor is responsible for the design and maintenance of our electrical equipment and automation systems. The Electrical and Automation Supervisor will develop, maintain and troubleshoot both equipment and industrial control systems for the formulation, filing and packaging processes. Based at our Berri Estates Winery, this position reports into the Packaging Maintenance Manager and will lead a team of 6 electrical tradespeople.
This is a full time, permanent position.
What You'll Do
1. The implementation of safeguarding control systems to support safe working practices.
2. Provide PLC and SCADA diagnostic support to all Accolade operation centres when required.
3. Complete FAT and SAT of supplier packages containing automation processes.
4. Provide engineering support and management of CAPEX and OPEX automation projects.
5. Perform maintenance work described on job sheets efficiently, recording time and material used.
6. Meet statutory and company obligations in regards to safety and work performance.
7. Encourage communication between all key stakeholders for issue resolution.
8. Maintain automation process monitoring systems, including environmental.
9. Mentor employee development with automation skills.
