About the role The Production Operator roleis a Full-Time position, based at Villawood, NSW. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will support the production function to ensure continual production of all products, meeting the required safety, quality, costs, quantity, employee relations and customer requirement criteria within the scheduled time constraints. In this role you will : Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past Use supplied and approved production hand tools and equipment safely as required. Clean blending system including fans, atomizers, bins, tracks, door mixers, tube switched as directed by Supervisor. Operate Bin emptier. Set and adjust and document blending and Lubrication system. Assist in cleaning of all production lines as per cleaning procedures. Maintain production equipment, report any damage to Maintenance/ Supervisor. Report breakdowns and maintenance requirements to maintenance / Supervisor. Maintain needle boards as per needle board schedule. Fettling of card wire. Assist in changing Oven Belts and Plastic ducting. Set and adjust Guillotine, Oven and cooling roller operations as required. Assist in trouble shooting minor errors. Assist maintenance in repairs and during planned maintenance. What you bring to the role Strong Safety awareness Attention to detail. Willingness to work a rotating roster. Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
