Position: Consultant - Anaesthetists Location: Western Australia Role Highlights: Provide comprehensive clinical service, governance and leadership in Anaesthetics to promote quality health outcomes for patients of WA Country Health Service. Ensure the provision of comprehensive anaesthetic service and airway management to patients. Provision of anaesthetic services for patients having surgical, medical, obstetric or investigational procedures, including continuous monitoring during such procedures. Pre-operative assessment and early post-operative care of patients. Supervision of anaesthesia trainees and other staff as appropriate. Demonstrated extensive experience in anaesthesia in general, obstetrics, paediatric and emergency anaesthesia. Knowledge and understanding of the rural anaesthesia setting. Ability to work as an effective team member. Highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
