The role:
Within a Primary Health Care framework and in accordance with Agency policies, the Administrative Assistant provides efficient and effective administrative support to services within Primary Health Services in the North West. A successful Administrative Assistant will:
1. Provide an information and reception service, ensuring prompt, sensitive and confidential handling of enquiries, to staff and clients presenting to the service.
2. Provide an efficient and effective administrative support service, as directed including processing of claims under the Patient Travel Assistance Program, management of vehicle bookings, document preparation, preparing minutes, processing requisitions for goods and services, undertaking routine processing of financial transactions, coordination of room bookings and management of incoming and outgoing mail.
3. Maintain filing systems and medical records, including ensuring the correct admission, discharge and transfer procedures are carried out, compiling of appropriate data electronically and provision of a manual back-up.
4. Prepare reports and statistical data relating to activities within Primary Health Services - North West as directed.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term, casual, shift-worker position working as and when required, commencing from September 2023 for a period of 12 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $39.38 - $42.33 per hour (including 25% loading) + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
