Primary
Purpose:
Develop, deliver and assess
marine training for SES and VMR volunteers and contribute to
the State Training Program
Contribute to the
development and maintenance of SES and VMR marine
capability
Support the SASES Marine
Capability Coordinator to develop and maintain marine
capability
Contribute to the
operational preparedness of the Region including marine risk
specific contingency plans, incident management capabilities
and operational response capabilities
Provide support to SES units
and VMR flotilla with the planning and implementation of
community engagement and awareness activities
Support SES units and VMR
flotilla compliance with relevant legislation, policies,
practices and procedures
Support proactive
recruitment activities for SES units and VMR flotilla within a
region
Collaborate with partner
agencies to ensure marine response planning and emergency
management outcomes at local levels
Facilitate post incident
debriefs and contribute to lessons learned processes of the
service
Support leadership
development and succession planning
Undertake emergency
management functions as required by SASES
Essential
Qualifications:
Unrestricted motor vehicle
license (and willingness to drive)
Remuneration:
ASO5
$85,790 - $95,413
Special
Conditions:Engagement will be subject
to a satisfactory Emergency Services Sector Criminal History
