Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, this role is a permanent position, on a 5/2 roster, Drive in/Drive Out roster and is responsible for leading and supervising a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring services are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure a professional and service focused Hospitality culture is maintained.
2. Delegate daily work sheets to rostered staff in relation to room and facility cleaning
3. Ensure adequate supplies of consumables, housekeeping materials and equipment are maintained.
4. Facilitate random and programmed audits of housekeeping services and report all room maintenance issues to Housekeeping Manager
5. Ensure all health, safety, quality and environmental standards and legislation are strictly met, ensuring a safe environment for all guests and employees.
To be successful, you will have:
6. Minimum 2 years of Hospitality industry experience in a Rooms Division role
7. Minimum 6 months experience with supervising a team
8. Knowledge of equipment and materials routinely used in housekeeping operations
9. Experience in workplace health and safety requirements in the Hospitality industry.
10. Proficient with MS Office, including Word and Excel
11. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead and motive a team.
12. Proof of working rights within Australia
13. Current Manual Driver’s Licensed
14. Remote work experience (highly regarded)
