Our State Government client is currently seeking a skilled ICT professional to lead the development and delivery of complex digital services, funding submissions and Project Definition Plans, ensuring the enhancement of ICT platforms.
This Temporary Casual Contract will involve extensive engagement across the public sector to promote digital services and influencing the IT organisation towards a service-oriented, cost-effective, and outcome-focused approach in alignment with the Office of Digital Government's objectives. The ideal candidate will excel in analysing policies, frameworks, and guidance materials related to whole-of-government ICT programs.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
1. Contributing to and supporting the WA Government Chief Technology Officer with the development and definition of the Department’s digital services strategy and priorities.
2. Drafting complex digital services project definition plans.
3. Leading engagement across the public sector with respect to digital services.
4. Contributing knowledge and expertise to digital reform and improvement objectives throughout the Digital Transformation and Technology Division.
5. Promoting collaborative processes and behaviours to facilitate sharing of ideas and work knowledge among internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
6. Providing a strategic consultancy service that ensures high-level advice is provided to the Executive, the Chief Technology Officer, senior managers, and key stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
7. Demonstrated experience working in an ICT position directing information technology projects, transformation, and services, within a complex and constantly evolving environment.
8. Excellent writing skills with demonstrated experience in developing and drafting submissions for funding, specifically of a complex, ICT, and high-value nature.
9. Demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills with experience overseeing IT
10. budgets and capital expenditures.
11. Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices with experience applying it to ICT project management and delivery, continuous improvement, risk and security assurance, and digital compliance.
12. Highly developed verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the office and liaise with, and influence, internal and external clients, stakeholders, vendors, and business partners.
13. Knowledge of State Government Budgetary processes including the Strategic Asset Management Framework.
