About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commis Chef to join our culinary team at DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront. As a Commis Chef, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, producing high-quality food for our guests efficiently and economically.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Work closely with the Stewarding department and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation standards.
* Maintain a positive attitude and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
* Australian working rights.
* 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
* Strong technical skills, reliability, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
