RAMBOLL IS SEEKING PASSIONATE ENGINEERS TO SUPPORT RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS IN AUSTRALIA Ramboll is an industry leader in Energy from Waste with over 200 reference plants globally, including thermal technologies, anaerobic digestion and carbon capture. We have a growing presence in Australia with over 80 staff (10 in Energy from Waste) across offices in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Newcastle.
We have a growing portfolio of projects around Australia and in the South-East Asian region, including:
Providing guidance to Project Developers and Investors on Energy from Waste technologies, regulations and limitations. Working with technology providers to review engineering designs and project proposals. Representing owners' interests in developing technical specifications, managing technical aspects of EPC procurement and Contracts. Reviewing detailed designs of facilities being established. Providing oversight of construction and commissioning activities. Engagement with all levels of government bodies to introduce the energy from waste industry to Australia. The Opportunity Due to a rapidly growing energy from waste market, we are looking for passionate and motivated engineers to join the team. The role will initially be in Perth, supporting the completion and commissioning of the Kwinana Waste to Energy Project, and will then relocate to Melbourne, supporting projects on the east coast of Australia. You will be employed on a permanent full-time basis with Ramboll, and the start date is as you are available.

About You The following experience is highly desirable in this role:
Experience on Australian projects and facilities, either in design, construction, commissioning or operations, preferably related to energy or complex processes, ideally in energy from waste or anaerobic digestion or similar industry with transferable skills. Minimum of 5 years practical and relevant experience. Ability to work in Australia. Furthermore, the ideal candidate is:
An excellent communicator and problem solver with a targeted focus on producing solutions and has a strong character not afraid to handle opposition when challenges arise. Proactive and flexible and thrives in an independent job. Your tasks will demand a great ability to keep a sense of perspective, a structured approach to your work as well as the ability to independently see something through. A team player and cooperation with colleagues from other areas of the business comes natural to you. A fast learner, able to build knowledge and develop new skills and capabilities on the job. Comfortable in speaking and writing English at a high professional level. You especially have strong verbal and reporting skills, as you will convey and communicate technical information to colleagues, clients and stakeholders in meetings and studies.
