About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a positive and eager Accounts Payable Officer to join a meaningful business and start on short notice. The role will involve Accounts Payable duties including entering invoices, matching to PO's, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, reporting and assisting with system integrity.
The company is based in Western Sydney, and would love someone to join the team as soon as possible. You will be working within a highly supportive team and the company does look to retain talent, offering internal opportunities.
Responsibilities
Playing a key support role within the accounts payable business, you will be responsible for:
1. Entering invoices into the system using the OCR system
2. Entering purchase orders into the system
3. Processing invoices
4. Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
5. Responding to queries from fellow employees
6. Assisting with payment runs
7. Reconciling accounts
8. Master data and assisting with system integrity
9. Ad hoc duties as required
Skills / Experience:
10. Prior experience within an accounts payable role
11. Strong attention to detail
12. Good accuracy
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
14. Proactive, flexible approach to completion of work
15. Strong organisational and administrative skills
16. Great Communication Skill
