That’s why we’re creating a workplace and culture where you can truly thrive.Your impact, with usAs our highly valued Medical Secretary, you’ll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.While your primary base will be in Armadale, the majority of your working days will be spent at our Wexford Medical Centre location. Some travel between our Advara HeartCare sites may be required, and you may also be asked to provide short-term administrative relief at other practices, contributing to our ongoing commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.What you’ll bringTo succeed in this role, you will have:A minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical secretary role including coordinating a specialist’s schedule, bookings and clinics and providing a PA service to the specialistsStrong medical terminology and cardiology terminology (desirable)Competent in the use of medical management software (we use Healthtrack)Highly organised, able to multitask, prioritise and work under pressureHigh level written and verbal communication skillsLiaising effectively with all stakeholders including hospital and health care providersGood attention to detail and well-developed computer literacyIssuing patient invoices and receipts, patient quotes, attending to account enquiries, billing Medicare, DVA and health fundsMust hold a current Australian driver’s license.We would also love you to have:A mindset of collaboration and continual learning.
