talented Occupational Hygiene Advisor to join our HSEC Operational Delivery Team in a diverse mining environment.Being a part of the provision and coordination of occupational hygiene support will put path while being rewarded for your unique skills.The role is offered on a permanent full-time basis, FIFO from Perth on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.Working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will; Develop annual risk-based monitoring plans Governance and quality control of monitoring results and reporting Recommend key control methods (considering the hierarchy of control) for occupational hygiene risk reduction and evaluate control effectiveness Advising on legislative and industry standard requirements as they relate to occupational hygiene Fulfilling the regulatory duties of appointed Mine Air Quality Officer, Noise Officer and Audiometric Officer Undertake annual and legislative reporting Undertake personal exposure monitoring, water monitoring and health surveillance as required Investigate situations of occupational over-exposure and / or incidence of adverse health effects Undertake first line assurance against the Rio Tinto Health Performance Standards and legislative requirements and advising of Health / Hygiene Management System implementation Education, communication and engagement with RT HSEC groups, site leaders and operational personnel Provision of support and guidance to Occupational Hygiene Technicians What you'll bring To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: A C Class Manual drivers license A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Tertiary qualified in occupational hygiene, allied health or related science field and/or experience in Occupational Health, Hygiene, and Safety Certifications in Mine Air Quality (Surface Ventilation Officer), Noise Officer, and Audiometric Officer Experience with incident investigations and risk assessment techniques Ability to work in a team and autonomously with strong communication, engagement and influencing skills Strong analytical and technical capability Knowledge and understanding of: Rio Tinto Health and Safety systems, HSEC Standards and key risk management and assurance processes Membership of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) If you are excited about the role and think you have what it hospital and a high standard of recreational facilities.The Marandoo mine is located at the foot of Mount Bruce adjacent to the Karijini National Park, 50 km east of the town of Tom Price.Marandoo is
