Singleton, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSW Mining - Operations (Mining, Resources & Energy) Full time Advancing careers.Advancing everyday life.Bulga Open Cut is a long established and consistently performing open cut coal operation, located near Singleton in the NSW Hunter Valley.We offer one of the most ideal lifestyle locations with its proximity to Singleton, Maitland and Newcastle being just minutes from the Hunter expressway.An opportunity is currently available for an experienced Training Coordinator to join HST team.Reporting to the Health, Safety and Training Manager, and as an integral member of the team, the primary purpose of this role is to develop and maintain a training and competency management system that meets the requirements of the Coal Industry Order 34 and Glencore corporate requirements.In this role you will be responsible for: Conducting training and assessments on equipment and systems The coordination and evaluation of external training providers The coordination, ongoing review and maintenance of site induction and training in accordance with legislative requirements, specifically the Order 34 Guideline About you: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Experience in developing and maintaining systems, policies and procedures is essential.You will have relevant experience in a similar role, with a proven record of accomplishment in demonstrating strong systems focus and strategic approach to delivering positive outcomes.Sound IT and records management skills A sound understanding of WHS legislation applicable to the NSW Coal Mining Industry Excellent communication, planning and scheduling skills A high level of motivation and enthusiasm Your proven relationship building skills will be complemented by well developed, interpersonal and influencing abilities.
