You will work in a leading public hospital, collaborating with an integrated mental health service, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug services team, and a homeless health outreach team to ensure that patients receive appropriate and culturally safe care.In this role, your responsibilities will include providing care to individuals living with mental health and associated substance use disorders, as well as offering clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team. You will be instrumental in overseeing and reviewing clinical governance and actively contributing to the education and training of junior medical staff, medical students, mental health clinicians, other health professionals, and key stakeholders. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement initiatives, uphold professional behaviour standards, take part in the on-call roster, and ensure your ongoing professional development.You will work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
