The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Asset Manager to join a forward-thinking team in Brisbane. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing property assets to ensure they meet high standards of maintenance, compliance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Management and Reporting: Oversee the collection and analysis of property data, including asset condition, lifecycle management, and procurement processes. Provide detailed reports and forecasts to support decision-making and budget planning.
2. Procurement and Contract Management: Ensure effective procurement outcomes, manage service provider agreements, and oversee the implementation of quality standards and technical specifications. Evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money.
3. Planned and Cyclical Maintenance: Develop and manage maintenance schedules for asset refurbishment and upgrades, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practices. Monitor project progress and manage variations.
4. Property Condition Assessments: Conduct and manage property condition assessments and inspections, ensuring that all findings are documented and addressed. Coordinate with contractors to complete necessary repairs and improvements.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, technical consultants, and government agencies. Support the implementation of strategic asset management plans and policies.
About You:
6. Experience: Extensive experience in asset management, with a strong background in managing maintenance programs, procurement, and contractor relationships.
7. Knowledge: Deep understanding of asset management principles, building compliance, and safety standards, including fire systems and WH&S regulations.
8. Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
9. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
