More About the Role at RACV About the Opportunity As the Commercial Energy Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in helping drive strong sales outcomes that enable RACV Solar to be recognised as a premium national provider of energy solutions to businesses and government bodies. The primary function of this dynamic role is to support the sales team with the development of tender submissions and proposals for complex cleaner energy projects (batteries, solar, and EV chargers). You will also contribute to our B2B sale target by managing a sales pipeline primarily focused on multi-product SME opportunities. Come along for a new journey You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Energy Team delivers exceptional results and service which will see increased product breadth sold to commercial customers beyond the historical solar focus. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing: - Leading the development of submissions to tenders and proposals for complex cleaner energy projects (batteries, solar, and EV chargers). - Critically assess tender opportunities to determine their suitability for RACV to bid on. During this process, account for RACV’s commercial drivers and operational capabilities. - Build, manage and convert a pipeline of B2B opportunities, demonstrating an ability to apply solution selling techniques to win new business. - Apply strong interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships with customers who in turn see RACV Solar as their trusted partner for cleaner energy solutions. - Lead the scoping and pre-sale project management of complex renewable energy projects, including coordination of multi-functional working groups with HTHA. - Apply strong discipline of maintaining customer data in the CRM from initial entry of a new lead through to sale. - Engage with commercial customers during on-site inspections to assess the electrical infrastructure. This will inform the engineering solution presented in tenders and proposals Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring. Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything.
