Speech Pathologist Opportunity in Perth, WA with DIDO to Wheatbelt, WA. The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Speech Pathologist to join our team. This role is Perth-based with travel to Wheatbelt on a fortnightly basis (2 days per fortnight) to help service our clients or deliver speech pathology services via telehealth. You will deliver transdisciplinary therapy services to paediatric and adult participants (including from culturally and linguistically diverse populations, and in corrective services settings). The successful applicant will have the ability to manage a growing caseload and be a collaborative team player. Your excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills will be critical to your success in this role. You will have the support of an established Allied Health team and Patches National transdisciplinary therapy service. This role is currently offered as a FT position with flexibility to be part time. You will be supporting our teams in Perth and Wheatbelt. We are based in a modern, open plan office with dedicated therapy rooms. Our technology and systems are purpose built and allow our clinicians to focus on the important things. Recent Graduates also encouraged to apply Essential Criteria Contemporary knowledge of speech pathology service delivery within a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) context Proven track record of delivering person-centred speech pathology assessments and interventions for individuals (children, adults) with developmental and/or acquired disability A team player who is inquisitive and knows how to provide and act on behavioural-based feedback Willingness to learn and adapt based on the needs of the business and our participants Desired Criteria Experience delivering person-centred mealtime, Augmented and Alternative Communication (AAC), and/or social skills interventions Experience delivering speech interventions that require Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT) therapy Experience assessing and prescribing individualised AAC systems for people who rely on AAC, within an NDIS context Experience supervising early career speech pathologists Experience providing positive behaviour support (PBS) Able to go on outreach trips Eligibility requirements Qualifications in relevant discipline and AHPRA or relevant professional body registration Proof of Working Rights (Australian Passport, Citizenship Certificate or a valid Visa) Current Australian Drivers Licence Current National Police Clearance NDIS Workers Check Current Working with Children Check Why you will love working for Patches Competitive Salary Ranging with above Award remuneration.
