Working in this unique alpine environment means that when you're not providing excellent service to our guests, you can enjoy the slopes yourself!Key Responsibilities:Manage Mt Baw Baw Food and Beverage venues and ensure an exceptional level of customer service, including responding to guest enquiries.Work closely with the Chef to measurably drive sales growth and meet and/or exceed agreed profitability margins for Food and Beverage products and services.Provide coaching, training and support to all new Front of House incumbents including food safety, customer service, cleanliness, merchandising and Standard Operating Procedures.Lead by example to develop a positive team culture that is focused on ensuring excellent service delivery is provided to all visitors across food and beverage outlets.Provide an accurate and timely report of the monthly stocktake.Order stock ensuring appropriate stock levels to minimise wastage.Assist in the recruitment of new team.Supervise the Hospitality Officers to undertake Front of House administration, including shift management and overtime, and ensure accurate Front of House cash and EFTPOS reconciliations of merchandise, food and beverage sales, and other sales.Ensure Front of House equipment is kept in working order and maintained/serviced as required, including reporting incidents and maintenance required.Assist with the preparation, serving, presentation, and delivery of food and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program (FSP).Ensure security of the venue to ensure closing procedures are implemented.Ensure that all staff, guests and stakeholders observe statutory regulations within venue, by enforcing the Responsible Service of Alcohol and Liquor Licence conditions as required.What amazing skills and experience will score you this role?Minimum 3 years' experience managing a Front of House team at a food venue, events/function venue, or similar.Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)Victorian Supervisor Food Handling CertificateExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTeam leader skills that demonstrate the ability to lead and coordinate the performance of a group of people so that, collectively, they deliver on agreed outcomes.Ability to think laterally and solve problems.Understand relevant food and beverage laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.The successful candidate will be required to:Have full Australian working rights.
