Job Title: Manager, Global Benefits Strategy & Design (APAC)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Two Days Work from Home (The role starts in January 2025)
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Benefits Strategy & Design Manager to join a dynamic Global Rewards team on a 12-month contract, focusing on benefits management across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Indonesia. You’ll play a key role in driving the success of benefits programs and delivering value to employees across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Local Benefits Programs: Oversee annual renewals of local benefit programs, including group risk insurances, pension plans, medical insurances, and health check programs. Handle end-to-end design and delivery, from policy assessment to vendor management.
* Align with Global Strategy: Work closely with the Senior Director of Benefits Strategy & Design for APAC to ensure programs align with the global rewards strategy and comply with regional legislation.
* Subject Matter Expert: Act as the go-to expert for APAC leave and benefits policies, providing support to the Employee Success team and advising on policy improvements.
* Drive Benefits Utilisation: Develop and implement communications strategies to increase awareness and utilisation of benefits, including a year-round wellbeing calendar.
* Market Analysis: Conduct annual benefits benchmarking exercises to assess program competitiveness and explore cost-saving opportunities.
* Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams like ES Business Partners, Payroll, People Operations, and Business Resource Groups to ensure successful program delivery.
* Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors in APAC, managing vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience: 8-10 years in APAC benefits management, with a deep understanding of regional insurance practices, retirement programs (e.g., Superannuation), and regulatory requirements.
* Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Autonomous Worker: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and exercise sound judgment across countries.
* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of benefits administration, with skills in storytelling, project management, and data analysis to support decision-making.
