Position Summary
This position is to assist our Junior and senior team members on a daily basis with a number of our Charities, NGOs and Not for Profits. This role would also have a large part in growing this division within our firm. This division provides our external clients with a full outsourced finance function, from payroll, AP/AR, monthly accounts to budgeting & forecasting and variance analysis and Grant Acquittals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Day to day review and support of junior team members.
2. Ensuring all staff members are up to date on training.
3. Ensure processing of information into the Firms systems has been properly recorded.
4. High level calculations and journals- Accruals, prepayments etc.
5. Detailed month end management reporting review.
6. Meets with clients and is able to form positive relationships.
7. Analyses management accounting reports and provides advice to clients.
8. Shares knowledge, best practices and industry market trends to actively increase the overall knowledge of the team.
9. Assistance with fee proposals and client pitches.
10. Preparation of budget, forecast and analytical reporting.
11. Assistance with add hoc advisory work.
12. Manages work flow of the team andmunicates with partner on a frequent basis on necessary matters;
13. Review of client WIP and monthly billings.
14. Review of internal and external procedures to efficiencies and accuracies in processes are best practice, mainly through technology solutions.
15. Tracking client deadlines and targets are met.
16. Overseeingernment Reporting and Grant Acquittals

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:
Essential
17. 5 years in a similar role
18. Preferable experience within either Xero, Account Right live, MYOB or Quickbooks online.
19. Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
20. Deadline driven
21. Intermediate/advanced experience with Microsoft office packages.
22. Beneficial to be aware or have used cloud-based accounting apps, Receiptbank, Hubdoc, KeyPay.
