Lifestart Disability Services is an Early Childhood Partner, delivering the NDIS Early Childhood Approach across the Central Coast. We work in partnership to empower children aged 0-9 years and their families, building their capacity so they have the tools to reach their full potential.
This position supports families across the Central Coast, and you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid model, including working from home, at our offices in Gosford, within client homes, at early childhood centers, schools and within other community-based settings. This position is offered on a full-time maximum term basis to June 2026.

Key Responsibilities
Working as an Early Childhood Coordinator, you will serve as the Key Worker and play a crucial role supporting families who have concerns about their child's development. Day to day, you will use your allied health background by:
* Assisting families to develop goals for their child that reflect family/carer goals and priorities.
* Conducting assessments and delivering tailored supports in line with the NDIS Early Childhood Approach.
* Providing information and supporting families to access mainstream and community services as required, to support their needs, and those of their child/children.
* Implementing short-term early intervention strategies that support the child's development.
* Managing and coordinating referrals to appropriate services, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of care for the child.
* Participating in community capacity building initiatives and building effective relationships with local community services, health professionals, and educational institutions.
* Preparing relevant reports and documentation relating to your allocated families, in accordance with NDIA requirements.
* Working within a transdisciplinary team, sharing experiences and expertise, collaborating with others to ensure a holistic approach to early childhood intervention.
You may have:
* Bachelor or Master degree in Speech Pathology and registration with SPA
* Experience in clinical settings but are looking for a role that allows you to broaden your scope and the impact you make
* A passion for and strong understanding of early childhood development and early childhood best practices
* Strong case management skills, working with children 0-9 years, their families and communities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with families from diverse communities and backgrounds.
* A proactive problem-solver, able to navigate complex systems and advocate for children’s needs.
* Organised, and able to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Essentials
* Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle, and willingness to travel across the Central Coast
* Currently have (or willing to obtain) NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children clearance, criminal history background checks
* Full COVID-19 vaccination (including booster) or eligible medical exemption.
