About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Food Services team as a Casual Kitchen Hand, where you will be responsible for: The Kitchen Hand is responsible to the Kitchen Team Leaders for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen including salad and sandwich production, central plating, dishwashing and maintenance of a clean and hygienic environment. All duties need to be performed in compliance with the department’s Food Safety Plan. Staff will be rostered over a seven-day roster working either a morning or afternoon shift on an on-call basis. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant experience in a large food service environment or training with a recognised provider. Good knowledge of food products and food production systems and processes. Positive attitude to work and the ability to work as part of an effective team. Good organisational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and work collaboratively with the management team.
