This role is responsible for driving company initiatives and leading the HR team towards a curious mindset to drive continued talent improvement strategies. Own: Consult with your internal business partners to determine workforce needs, identify competency gaps, and assist with creating a workforce strategy. Provide leadership, guidance and support to local Human Resources team by setting objectives and metrics that align with Company goals. Manage plant communication to promote employee understanding of programs, policies, and objectives. Innovate: Own projects throughout the HR field to ensure continuous improvement working towards a best-in-class approach. Plan and coordinate new employee orientation programs to foster information exchange and education and the development of positive attitudes toward Company goals as needed. Proactively engage with the talent review process to encourage internal mobility and strong succession planning to ensure talent readiness. Influence: Act as the HR Business Partner for our Texas Corporate office by leveraging internal relationships and business knowledge to drive innovative workforce strategies. Analyze and leverage HR statistics and metrics turnover and retention to create a unique employee experience. Partner closely with cross-functional HR teams to drive best-in-class people strategies for Klein Tools' Texas facilities. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related business curriculum and leadership experience is required. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred. Previous work in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations. Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of the organization across multiple locations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to internal (i.e. employees) and external customers (i.e. candidates).
