See yourself in our team: The Group Support Services Finance (GSSF) team is part of Group Operations Finance, partnering with senior leadership of the bank's Financial Services, Marketing, Strategy, Risk, Human Resources, and Legal functions. The GSSF team manages the end-to-end finance functions for these businesses and collaborates regularly with other Business Unit and Group finance teams throughout the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: Create Impactful Visuals: Develop dynamic and interactive Power BI visuals that drive decision-making and financial analysis. Lead Power BI Initiatives: Engage in Power BI activities, including designing, building, and presenting changes that enhance our data capabilities. Innovate with VBA: Maintain and enhance VBA tools to streamline processes and provide robust analytical support. Empower the Team: Develop, manage, and deploy data models that the team can use in their day-to-day work. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to prioritise business and information needs, ensuring that our data solutions align with organisational goals. Ensure Compliance: Adhere to data management and data governance regulations and policies, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity. Automate Processes: Automate reconciliation between different enterprise systems to reduce the time spent investigating differences each month, driving efficiency and accuracy. We are interested in hearing from people who have: Demonstrated expertise in Excel, Power BI dataflows, queries, and DAX, with a high proficiency in ETL processes. Preferred experience in Alteryx, SQL, and VBA (though not mandatory). Experience in data modelling and developing business intelligence insights, with a focus on end-user consumption and strong data visualization and design principles. A growth mindset and a proven track record of continuous improvement. Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment with agile timelines. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
