Fragomen is a dynamic and talented Marketing & Business Development Team in Asia Pacific. Members of this team serve as strategic business advisors to the firm's partners and immigration professionals, respected for their proactive guidance, resilience, dedication, and work ethic.
You will work with a close-knit, collaborative, and supportive team to:
* Write and project manage major RFPs, proposals, and presentations for the APAC region.
* Maintain the CRM database for opportunities you lead.
* Develop website content for regional locations.
* Assist the wider Marketing & Business Development team with a range of projects in a fast-paced environment.
You will directly support the marketing and business development efforts of preeminent thought leaders in immigration around the world and work at a firm that revolutionizes the immigration industry through innovation.
This role allows for meaningful engagement and collaboration with client account teams and corporate stakeholders throughout the worldwide firm, including senior leaders.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, conscientious, and proactive self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills and 5-10 years of experience managing RFPs, proposals, and pitches or in a related marketing, business development, or communications role.
In addition, the candidate should have a strong understanding of the unique nuances, cultural dynamics, and market trends within the Asia Pacific to craft tailored and competitive proposals.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Driving the end-to-end management and preparation of client-focused, high-quality proposals, capabilities statements, RFP responses, and pitch presentations consistent with firm messaging and tailored to each opportunity.
* Cordinating the flow of information from various internal contributors to meet all proposal and pitch milestones and deadlines.
* Understanding the unique requirements of each RFP and leading calls with the wider pitch team to determine opportunity background, key themes, and strategies, and define deliverables.
* Working closely with the wider pitch team and visual design team to develop on-brand presentation materials, including customized print collateral and PowerPoint presentations.
* Confidently coaching client-facing presentation team during pitch practice sessions.
* Possessing the ability to quickly develop a strong working knowledge of the firm, its clients, potential targets, and their industry sectors, especially within the APAC region.
* Compiling and organizing proposal content based on certain criteria; maintaining and updating proposal and RFP content in web-based system.
* Drafting marketing copy, including proposals that conform to prescribed style and formatting.
* Synthesizing and presenting data and processes in multiple formats, including text, charts, diagrams, etc.
* Demonstrating cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to interface with internal clients in Fragomen offices within the region and worldwide.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, English, or a related field.
* 5-10 years of relevant marketing experience, particularly as a proposal or pitch coordinator or in a related role.
* Solid writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
* The ability to read and write Chinese Mandarin or other languages would be advantageous.
* Significant experience working on RFPs and proposals.
* Experience leading and directing teams of various levels, including senior Partners and leaders.
* Superior project management skills as well as excellent organizational skills.
* Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations requiring adherence to tight deadlines.
* Client service-oriented with the aptitude to address internal clients' needs in a professional and courteous manner.
* Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
* Presentation ideas in clear, logical, and concise format.
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with InDesign a plus.
* Able to collaborate, excel, and deliver outcomes in a team environment.
* Capable of learning and understanding an APAC audience and producing targeted content.
* Independently driven, resourceful, proactive, and self-motivated with a 'make it happen' mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
This position requires a very high energy level and flexibility with respect to overtime. Experience in a legal or other professional services firm is a plus.
