The Opportunity
EBM are currently seeking a proactive Account Manager for our high performing team based in West Perth. This position will have responsibility for key client account management whilst contributing to success through the development of new business and retention of existing business across various sectors.
Key areas of accountability include:
* Maintenance of client relationships and provision of a superior client experience in the fulfilment of their end to end policy/claims lifecycle
* Handling and accurately directing client enquiries
* Renewal marketing & negotiation
* Claim settlement negotiation
* Assisting with the development of new business
* Coordinating processing instructions for quotations, new business, endorsements, renewals and cancellations
* Proactive preparation for renewals including obtaining claims information and other duties as required
* Preparation of reports and documentation for clients and insurers
* Providing general broking and technical support to the Regional Director, Broking, supporting overall team success.
About you:
With previous insurance industry experience under your belt, you’ll be looking for a unique opportunity to grow and develop. As an enthusiastic team player who understands the power of exceptional client service you’ll offer:
* Completion of a Diploma in Insurance Broking
* Thirst for continual improvement and a desire to learn
* Motivation to contribute directly to the achievement of KPIs impacting client retention, revenue and client satisfaction
* Demonstrated experience as a team player, who is eager to take the initiative to ensure the efficient running and growth of the portfolio
* Superb organisational skills, attention to detail and your finger on the pulse!
* Excellent communication abilities (verbal and written) so you can engage effectively at all levels.
* Previous experience in broking and client facing relationships is preferred.
