Territory Manager, Hospital - VIC

Reporting into the Area Sales Manager, Advanced Wound Management, the main purpose of this role is to drive the growth and acceleration of Advanced Wound Management products in the hospital channel. This territory will cover Hospital accounts in VIC region.
Through working infield with key customers will include Specialists, Nurses, Doctors, Procurement and Key Opinion Leaders. You will enjoy working closely with customers to provide value and as required take control of sales conversation. Interact clinically and importantly understand how to navigate across the complex hospital environment.
What will you be doing?
1. Achieve budgeted sales, market share and focus products within assigned territory.
2. Improve potential for territory through effective targeting and territory management.
3. Supervise territory sales progression to targets and initiate corrective action where appropriate.
4. Identify key targets to successfully expand sales of key Smith & Nephew brands.
5. Provide outstanding service to existing customers whilst proactively canvassing for new opportunities.
6. Provide in-service programmes, workshops and seminars where appropriate to customers.
7. Understand and fully follow CRM ways of working (and all CRM system requirements)
What will you need to be successful?
8. Education: University Degree or similar in Engineering or related field or 7 years of experience in working medical field with loan and consignment inventory, valid driver’s license.
9. Experience: Prior sales experience within the healthcare industry is essential
10. Experience handling wound care or related medical consumables' portfolio, essential
11. Shown success selling into hospitals
12. Travel Requirements: up to 25% domestic
