Role overview As a Pricing Actuary, the successful candidate will work within the new business Pricing Team to ensure delivery of pricing for Group renewals and new business opportunities, across Individual, Group and Asia Pacific Financial Services for Australia and New Zealand. Duties & responsibilities Resolve complex problems and provide solutions with reasoned analysis to Senior Pricing Actuaries & Chief Pricing Actuary Provide complete reviews of others work, correcting issues with process, judgement & understanding Capable of leading projects using standard processes or renewals on existing business Signoff on individual quotes (as per Authorities Framework) Work independently with minimal guidance Communicate clearly to all stakeholders Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions (problem solving creativity); exercises judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Qualifications & experience Qualified FIAA A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in either a reinsurance and/or pricing role.
