Job Description
Study the project requirement, specification, scope of work and scope supply and other requirements stated.
Attend periodical meetings with clients to discuss engineering clarifications and engineering status: Technical Query (TQR) Piping Insulation Document & Drawing Status (isometric drawings, P&ID's, Piping GA's, etc.)
FIM & DM supply piping material status Engineering Clarification / Proposal Responsible for the master material take off (MTO), procurement of insulation materials and to expedite delivery for materials.
Take charge of master status of Engineering, Procurement and construction status.
Coordinate with fabricator and project team for the execution of insulation work.
Prepare necessary documents for additional claims/instructions to sub-contractors (JCS/JCR/Site Instruction/Timesheet "A" and "AA").
Resolve engineering matters as advised or instructed by the department head and engineering manager.
Establish sequence of priority for piping completion with other relevant departments.
Ensure work and materials are in accordance with sequence and stated quality standards and requirements.
Supervise fabrication and installation of piping items in accordance with drawings and client specifications.
Organize and control shop fabrication activities.
Job Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Marine Shipyard operations involving site piping fabrication and supervision works.
Highly motivated individuals with good organizational and leadership skills.
Able to adapt to new work environments and able to lead independently.
Active and positive minded.
Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e., Microsoft Excel).
