About Poitrel Stanmore Resources owns and operates major coal-producing assets, including the Isaac Plains Complex, Poitrel and South Walker Creek coal mines.
The Poitrel operation is located approximately 40km East of Moranbah, 176km from Mackay in the northern section of the Bowen Basin.
Job Description As Process Engineer you will report to the Processing Superintendent, and primarily be assigned to the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).
This will entail daily monitoring, planning, identifying opportunities and supporting technical solutions to ensure that the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) achieves production, efficiency and quality targets.

This role is offered on a Monday to Friday roster with the opportunity for flexible work arrangements.
In this role you will: Monitor and optimise CHPP operations through data analysis, system improvements and technical support to achieve production and quality targets Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Coal quality, logistics and Mining teams to ensure operational excellence and meet performance objectives Provide technical leadership and support to site personnel, including operations and laboratory teams Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the Superintendent in leading operational developments within the CHPP Qualifications To be a success, you will have: Initiative and a high level of self-motivation and enthusiasm experience in CHPP operations as a process engineer/graduate or similar role (favourable but not essential).
