We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent Sales Support Merchandise to join our Parkes branch to help drive instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products.
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will focus on developing strong customer relationships with our broad customer base. Our customer base is diverse and can include local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers with the focus of your role to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:
4. Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
5. Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
6. Processing counter sales
7. Maintaining safety processes
8. Assisting with merchandise campaign material
9. Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
10. Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You’ll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:

12. Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
13. A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
14. Excellent attention to detail
15. Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
16. Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes
17. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
18. A current driver’s license is essential.
