Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our HONAN team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Claims Executive at Marsh, you will be responsible for delivering superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage, and managing a portfolio of Strata claims. You will play a crucial role in investigating, evaluating, and negotiating assigned cases while ensuring quality customer service.
We will count on you to:
1. Collaborate and Partner for Client Value: Establish and maintain strong relationships with claimants, repairers, assessors, and other stakeholders; identify suspicious claims and coordinate investigations; provide insights on claims activity to underwriters.
2. Inspire with Operational Excellence: Interpret policy coverage, ensure compliance with statutory guidelines, respond to inquiries within service-level agreements, and maintain professional correspondence with stakeholders.
3. Satisfy and Reach with New Technologies: Maintain knowledge of products and processes, attend relevant training, and contribute to process improvements.
4. Share Knowledge through Data and Analytics: Provide timely updates to clients on claims progress, set reserves, negotiate settlements, and assist in preparing files for legal proceedings.
What you need to have:
5. Broad knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processes
6. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
7. Strong organizational skills and customer focus
8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with advanced attention to detail
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
10. 1-2 years of experience in insurance
11. Experience working within SLA timeframes
12. Tertiary legal qualifications are highly desirable
