About the RoleThe Supervisor, Water Maintenance will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of Drinking (Potable) Water Treatment, Waste Water Treatment and Surplus Water infrastructure in accordance with BHP policies and procedures.
Reporting to the Superintendent, Eastern Water, Infrastructure and Services, your duties will include:
Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.Safely lead and support the maintenance team through planned and unplanned maintenance activities.Overseeing compliance with WAIO operating standards, processes and procedures.Completing quality risk assessments and following work instructions when completing planned maintenance activities.Authorise, prioritise, plan and monitor workflow and work orders via 1SAP.Set and clearly communicate targets and expectations aligned with BHP Charter values and Way of Working.Lead, coach and mentor employees to deliver on plan and uphold BHP operating disciplines.Build cross functional relationships with other departments to support maintenance excellence.Positively influence and shape the culture of the team to ensure a safe, productive, quality, sustainable and disciplined approach to work.Work in accordance with the 1SAP work management processes, to ensure statutory reporting and monitoring is completed as per the pre-defined plan.LocationWith this role you have the choice of either being residentially based in Newman or FIFO from Perth to Newman on a 7/7 roster.
In the Infrastructure and Services team you would be working alongside a committed and outcomes-focused team that dedicatedly approaches the challenges they face.

You will be working at the BHP Exploration office in Newman.

About YouAs the successful candidate, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:
