Location:
Parramatta is the preferred location for the role, however we are open to considering to have the candidate based in Tamworth or any of our core regional offices.

What you’ll do:
8. Ensure that accurate and timely water quality advice is provided proactively to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Develop and implement policies, plans and procedures as required to ensure effective service delivery that meets client and business needs.
10. Ensure the water quality monitoring program continues to meet requirements of the operating license, statutory and other requirements, such as algal contingency plans, raw and drinking water supply agreements, Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, ANZECC guidelines and emerging water quality issues.
11. Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and regulators to ensure the timely resolution of customer, stakeholder and regulator issues relating to water monitoring/quality and the maintenance of ongoing compliance levels.
12. Identify and address knowledge gaps relevant to the Water Quality Services team to ensure understanding of legislative and policy frameworks in which they operate.
What we are looking for:
13. Tertiary qualification or demonstrated industry experience related to field of water quality science or engineering, with demonstrated experience in the management of water quality
14. Demonstrated ability or experience in leading a team
15. Experience in stakeholder and regulatory management, with knowledge of integrating regulatory and customer issues
16. Experience in risk management principles and processes
17. Demonstrated knowledge of NSW Water Management legislation, including for water quality outcomes
