Werribee & Western Automotive Group is currently seeking an experienced General Sales Manager with a successful proven track record, an impressive attitude and desire to achieve department results to maximise gross potential.

High Volume Dealership located in the Western Suburbs.
Key Attributes
* Proven track record in achieving new and used car sales targets.
* Management of online sales and marketing for new & used cars.
* Proficient user of Autogate and lead management tools.
* Managed listings across a range of automotive retail websites.
* Complete understanding of current market trends and driving the performance of all online listings and updating of listings on a daily.
* Ensured correct stock listings, vehicle data and information and high quality image presentation of vehicles.
* Managing a successful and profitable new and used car sales department.
* Exceptional communications skills.
* Direct Sales.
* At least 2 years sales management experience.
* Dealership experience is essential.
* Able to take initiative, problem solve and lead by example by being an active member of a team.
* A passion for superior level of customer service.
* Previous experience using Era or similar will be highly regarded.
* Exceptional personal presentation, be highly organised and responsive.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Taking full control of all new & used car advertising, valuation, purchasing and sales.
* Managing performance of all new & used car listings and regular updating thereof.
* Taking a hands on approach in supporting sales consultants to meet their targets.
* Assistance with selection of trading stock and managing stock levels.
* Working closely with all the departments (ie Marketing, F&I & Aftermarket) to maximise overall profitability.
* Training and developing your team with the ultimate aim of providing superior level of customer service and ensuring an efficient prospecting process is followed.
* Working with the leadership group to develop sales targets and gross profit targets.
* Involvement in double opening and closing of all sales.
