Job Description
Spread Joy by joining our Volunteer Team!
The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person.
We are seeking a caring individual to visit our elderly client in the beautiful South Coast suburb of Shellharbour City. Our client enjoys music, watching TV, having good conversations, and getting out and about. He would like to meet someone to visit him for a cuppa and a chat.
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.
Requirements
• 18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
