About the Role
Are you ready to drive Procurement Excellence and make a significant impact on Western’s organisational success? We invite you to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. The Office of Procurement Services is seeking 3x Procurement Specialists to join the Procurement Business Partnering team and 1x Procurement Specialist to join the Major Procurement Projects Team.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the way we procure goods and services to achieve our organisational and business objectives. Your core responsibilities encompass:
8. Procurement Expertise: Your deep knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices will guide our operations.
9. Stakeholder Collaboration: You'll closely collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement with strategic goals.
10. Strategic Planning: Develop procurement strategies optimising resource acquisition, from sourcing methods to budget allocation.
11. Sourcing and Management: Lead in sourcing materials, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
These are Full-Time, Ongoing positions based at Westerns Hawkesbury and Parramatta Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.
