You're welcome in the office every day, but you have the option to work from home one day a week.About the roleReporting to the Head of Affiliate Partnerships, as an Affiliate Account Manager you will support Are Media's over-arching content commerce strategy and execute a process to scale the monetisation of shopping content via affiliate partnerships.This role will foster relationships with our key merchants & network partners and negotiate commercial terms to secure paid content opportunities. Additionally, a key component of this role will be to measure and report on the performance of affiliate shopping content, provide post-campaign reports to merchants and create case studies that can be used to help sell our offering further in market.Your expertise in digital advertising sales, affiliate marketing and data analysis will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. Key ResponsibilitiesLead partnership discussions with ecommerce partners and create and launch initiatives that are market-leading and foster growth for both partiesFoster long-term relationships with Are Media's key retailer and brand partners and manage the negotiation of commission rates and commercial content agreementsMeet flat fee partnership growth targets, in close collaboration with the shopping content team Distil performance data into clear, actionable insights to guide our editorial team, and report on merchant- and site-level performance as needed. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, while identifying and recruiting new client partnerships, optimising existing campaigns and analysing performance metrics to achieve our affiliate channel revenue growth objectives.Contribute to a team culture that is innovative, inquisitive and collaborativeDutiesScale Affiliate Partnerships: Continue to grow current partnerships, while identifying opportunities for new client partnership. Research: Conduct keyword & content research utilising seo web tools such as Conductor, SEM Rush, Google Trends, Google Analytics. This will enable you to find trends and content opportunities to sellCampaign Management & Communication: Manage external relationships with affiliate networks/agencies and merchants directly, to apply for programs, activate campaigns, negotiate more favourable commercials and sell-in tenancy placementsContent Amplification: Focus on the top monthly stories and manage the amplification of content after it's published to maximise exposure through news syndication platforms, social media channels, EDM newsletters and paid audience driversReporting: Weekly & monthly reporting with insights on content performance from multiple affiliate revenue streams, to inform editors, finance and senior leadersSkills And ExperienceData driven mindset. Track record of managing high-growth partnerships, whether that be at an agency, affiliate network or publisherGreat communication & presentation skills. Sales experience is an advantage but not a prerequisiteBasic understanding of affiliate marketing: 1-2 years' experience at an affiliate network, agency or publisherExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholdersDesirable Experience using affiliate platforms (Commission Factory, Rakuten, Partnerize, Impact, Awin)Existing relationships and connections in the affiliate marketing industryAre Media is committed to a diverse, respectful, collaborative & inclusive workplace.
