The role will provide professional counselling through a variety of modalities, including individual, group and family scenarios.Applicants are required to address the Key Selection Criteria in a separate document to their cover letter and resume.Key Selection CriteriaTertiary qualification in a discipline such as Grief and Bereavement Counselling, Social Work, Pastoral Care, Psychology or related field (preferred)Demonstrated clinical experience in palliative care, bereavement care and support or a similar fieldClinical experience of providing 1:1 counselling sessions and group sessions utilising a broad range of counselling techniquesExcellent time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated competence in managing a clinical caseload of counselling clientsAbility to work skilfully, efficiently and creatively, using evidence-based practice in a team environmentWell-developed written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and computer skills (including electronic client record documentation)An understanding of community-based palliative care service provisionYou will enjoy benefits such as:Excellent salary packaging options including meals & entertainment and novated leasing.Internal and external professional development opportunities.A range of internal and external developmental and supportive opportunities.Excellent terms and conditions of employment.Closing Date: Sunday 23 March 2025Proposed Interview Date: Wednesday 26 March 2025The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check.
