Hybrid work arrangement: WFH St Leonards PURPOSE OF THE ROLE A large government department is seeking a skilled Manager, Corporate & Digital Communications to oversee the development and delivery of communication strategies, campaigns, and events. This role is focused on driving engagement, strengthening organisational reputation, and aligning communication efforts with strategic priorities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Lead and motivate a small team in developing, delivering, and evaluating internal, external, and digital communication strategies, campaigns, events, and services to drive engagement, enhance reputation, and achieve customer, stakeholder, and agency outcomes. Foster effective working relationships to deliver an integrated communications approach and narrative aligned with the agency’s vision, values, and strategic priorities. Oversee the preparation and implementation of engaging and strategically aligned communication messaging, content, and materials across a range of traditional and digital channels. Manage digital strategy, platforms (including website and employee intranet), content, and policies to guide best practice management and development of new channels and tools. Manage graphic and digital design services, including corporate brand and style guidelines for efficient production of publications, materials, and presentations aligned with strategic objectives. Support the development and implementation of communication governance frameworks, policies, processes, reporting, and evaluation to drive consistency, best practice, and continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA : Extensive experience developing, delivering, and evaluating internal and corporate communication strategies and campaigns within large, complex organisations. Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships both internally and externally. Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, with strong people management experience, initiative, and flexibility. Expertise in managing digital strategies, platforms, and content, including overseeing website and intranet development. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and strategically aligned content across various channels. Relevant qualifications and senior management experience in communications, stakeholder relations, marketing, or a similar field.
