Develop the quality of teaching and learning. Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders. The Head of Special Education Services is accountable to and under the direction of the principal or delegate. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support provided by the Multi-Tiered System of Student Support. Lead and manage the Inclusive Education to provide advice to classroom teachers for all students. Provide high quality advice to the school leadership team, classroom teachers and other school staff to develop, plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities. Coordinate and provide intensive targeted teaching for students requiring intervention.
