Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Junior School Teacher (P-6) to join our College for Term 2, 2025.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Collaboratively plan and deliver teaching, learning and assessment programs.
* Work in synergy with colleagues to ensure quality of programs.
* Implement programs with diligence, commitment and sensitivity to individual needs of learners.
* Measure and monitor progress of individuals and groups.
* Analyse and evaluate information from various sources to determine learning progress and achievements.
* Report learning progress and achievements to parents and carers.
* Support the development of students' personal, social and emotional domains.
* Ensure compliance with roll marking policy and procedures.
* Participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities.
* Contribute to the development of Literacy, Numeracy and Learning Technology.
* Attend committees/meetings as required.
Requirements:
* Must be registered or eligible for registration in Queensland as a teacher.
* Appropriate tertiary qualification/s.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Demonstrated capacity to use and implement Learning Technologies.
* A clearly articulated philosophy consistent with the Anglican ethos.
* Demonstrated qualities of a personal and professional learner.
* Demonstrated knowledge of pedagogical models appropriate for students' age and stage of development.
* Demonstrated ability to foster a psychologically safe and supportive learning environment.
* Demonstrated qualities of adaptability, accountability, flexibility, innovation, initiative, problem-solving skills, energy, dynamism, passion and commitment.
* Demonstrated capacity to work effectively as a member of a team and independently.
* Awareness of one's own particular gifts or talents and an ability to mobilise these personal assets.
* Demonstrated excellent written and oral, organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with prescribed curriculum frameworks and study designs.
* Solid understanding of student protection requirements.
