Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Coordinator to lead an innovative initiative that provides employment opportunities for vulnerable members of our community.

In alignment with this vision, the Landscape Coordinator will play a pivotal role in launching and coordinating a for-profit social enterprise focused on commercial landscaping.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Work closely with OPS leadership to develop plans and assess equipment requirements for the project.
2. Collaborate with program managers within Our Place to identify, recruit, and train employees for the landscaping team.
3. Support and oversee the initial launch of the landscaping team, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
4. Provide ongoing training and support to employees, promoting their professional development and growth.
5. Continuously identify opportunities for expansion and improvement within the landscaping business model.
6. Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders involved in the landscaping venture.
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to effectively communicate with clients
* Key Landscaping Skills:
o Shrub and tree pruning
o Quoting on maintenance work
* Key Skills for Working with Vulnerable Populations:
o Empathy and compassion
o Effective communication with diverse backgrounds
o Create an inclusive and supportive work environment
o Understanding of social challenges and barriers
Working Conditions & Compensation
Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, days.
Compensation: $30 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Vacation accrued at a rate of 6%.
Eligible for an employer-paid comprehensive benefits plan, including health and dental coverage, after completion of the probationary period.
This is a union-exempt position.
