Social Media Marketing Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for content creation and experience managing social media accounts on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This role involves developing and executing engaging weekly content strategies, posting regularly, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation & Posting
• Develop and create engaging, high-quality content (videos, images, reels, stories, and posts) tailored to each platform (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
• Maintain a weekly content calendar, ensuring regular posts and updates across all platforms.
• Design and schedule posts in advance, ensuring consistency in brand voice and style.
• Leverage trending topics, popular hashtags, and challenges to enhance visibility and engagement, especially on TikTok.
2. Community Engagement
• Respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers to foster community interaction.
• Build relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and followers to enhance brand loyalty.
• Monitor conversations and mentions of the brand across platforms and participate in discussions when appropriate.
3. Platform Strategy & Growth
• Analyze each platform’s performance and create growth strategies to increase followers, likes, comments, and shares.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and algorithm changes on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize reach and engagement.
• Implement paid social media campaigns when necessary, working with the team to create ads, manage budgets, and track ROI.
4. Content Analytics & Reporting
• Track and report on key social media metrics (engagement, growth, reach, conversion rates) to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Create monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Use analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics) to monitor trends and track campaign performance.
5. Collaboration & Brand Consistency
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with broader campaigns, product launches, or seasonal promotions.
• Ensure content aligns with brand messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.
• Coordinate with the design team to create graphics, banners, and other visual assets for posts, stories, and ads.
6. Trend Monitoring & Creative Strategy
• Research and identify emerging trends, viral challenges, and content ideas that align with the brand.
• Experiment with creative content formats, such as reels, live videos, polls, and stories, to maintain audience interest and excitement.
• Use data and audience feedback to continually improve content and strategies.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in social media marketing, specifically on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
• Creative flair with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and the ability to produce engaging video and graphic content.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Basic video editing skills (using tools like Canva, InShot, or Adobe Premiere Pro) preferred.
• Knowledge of SEO and hashtag strategies to increase discoverability is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
• Prior experience working with brands, products, or services in a similar industry (e.g., fashion, fitness, lifestyle, food, etc.).
• Experience running paid ad campaigns on Facebook or Instagram.
• Familiarity with TikTok’s unique features like TikTok Ads and influencer collaborations.
