For the right candidate, this represents an opportunity to be part of something new and fresh in the design retail space, opening the first Molteni & C Australian Flagship Store.Qualifications & experienceThe successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to their work, accompanied by a strong willingness to roll up their sleeves and be proactive. The successful candidate will also be CA or CPA qualified (required) and have the following:At least 4 years total industry work experience including 1 year in a similar role or 4 years' experience within a professional services firm in audit or business servicesExperience and knowledge of working with inventory (required). Candidates who do not have such experience are still encouraged to apply, but successful candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate practical retail and inventory accounting knowledge, including KPIs and drivers of profitabilityProactiveKnowledge of WiiseThe right to work in Australia on a full-time permanent basisTasks & responsibilities A full-time role working in Richmond and initially in Hawthorn. Working as part of a small team, you will take full ownership of the following:Managing the general ledger from transaction phase through to financial reporting, including the accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functionsPreparing monthly management reporting, including completing month-end accounting proceduresManaging and executing all compliance programs including Income Tax, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax, ASIC, Superannuation and Workers CompensationAssisting the Finance & Operations Manager with other key business functions including inventory management, pricing and foreign exchange activities and cash flow forecastingPlease click on the apply button to submit your application.
