About the Role
Due to an internal move, we are currently recruiting for a Health Economist or Senior Health Economist to join our Reimbursement and Pricing team at GSK. This role offers flexible employment options, including full-time or part-time schedules.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing reimbursement and pricing strategies, ensuring high-quality submissions to the PBAC, MSAC and ATAGI.
Your role will be varied and will include:
1. Collaborate with brand teams to lead the development of reimbursement submissions, consistent with HTA guidelines and aligned with GSK's strategy.
2. Contribute to value evidence plans by evaluating and supporting additional analyses or observational/real world studies required to inform the reimbursement submission.
3. Coordinate and develop responses to PBAC, MSAC and ATAGI evaluations.
4. Monitor the HTA and reimbursement environment to inform appropriate market access and pricing strategies.
5. Conduct market access feasibility assessments for current or pipeline assets/indications.
6. Project management of external consultants and contractors.
About you?
To be successful in the role, you should have a background in health economics or market access with knowledge of Australian reimbursement process (PBAC/MSAC/ATAGI) and the methods associated with health technology assessment.
You’ll also possess:
1. Degree in health sciences, public health, epidemiology, or health economics; postgrad preferred.
2. Proficient with the systematic review and evaluation of clinical evidence.
3. Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities, and ideally experience with budget impact and cost effectiveness modelling.
4. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
5. Effective communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
