The Opportunity
BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Driver/ Storeperson to join the team based in Mount Isa. We provide product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium products to various industries.
Your Role
* Support warehouse operations by ensuring our products are delivered to customers in a safe and timely manner.
* Safely assist in packaging, loading, restraining loads, driving a purpose-built truck, and unloading supplier's deliveries on arrival.
* Operate forklifts and process machinery as required.
* Accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery and collections.
* General warehousing and dispatch duties as required.
About You
* You will be a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself.
* You must have a Heavy Rigid (HR) manual license or be willing/able to obtain prior to employment.
* You will bring a positive attitude and a desire to work in a role that offers career progression.
* You will commit to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others on the team.
* You will have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
