About this opportunity
This role will primarily revolve around supporting the selling of the Viscount Intellicrate®, Nally Folding Megabin®, Nally Megabin® and other existing products and services within the Supply Chain Solutions range to new and existing Queensland based customers; Including developing markets and opportunities in external customers and within industries such as fresh produce, protein, dairy and others.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
2. Establish and increase penetration within growing regions and/or market segments with either no or low penetration rates.
3. Establish long lasting relationships at QLD based ALDI, Woolworths and other Retail DC’s.
4. Review and assist with the establishment of appropriate strategy positioning of selling price, selling structure and gross contribution.
5. Developing new business by generating, following up leads and initiating customer contact.
6. Forecasting and working closely with operations and customer service to ensure supply continuity.
7. Understanding and/or reporting on activity impacting demand within growing regions and market segments.
8. Participation, development and contribution toward market research and intelligence.
9. Assisting with initial product ideas for pooling and seeking opportunities to grow the Asset Management/Pooling business stream.
10. Internal - Establish and foster close working relationships with all members of the NPD cross functional teams, Sales/Marketing/Customer Service/Finance, Quality, Production, Engineering departments within relevant business units.
11. External – Establish and foster relationships with potential and existing Supply Chain Solutions customers.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
12. Strong Communication skills to communicate, present, assert and speak to all levels of stakeholders involved.
13. Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders to build relationships, influence, manage conflicts and navigate through issues arising.
14. Negotiation and Persuasion Skills – using tact and diplomacy always, knowing when to compromise and when to take a stand, in order to persuade.
15. Ability to plan and manage projects, manage the risk, forecast, time and teams working on ongoing projects.
16. Strong research and strategic analysis skills
17. High competency working with Microsoft Office, SAP and CRM software.
