The Assets and Capital Projects Manager (ACPM) is a newly established role in response to CHCA's housing growth and strategic direction.The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is an integral member of the Executive Team.The role partners internally and externally to drive organisational excellence and growth to deliver social and economic outcomes through the provision of safe, secure social and affordable housing.The ACPM will be keenly aware of the external environment, policy and market conditions to support CHCA's strategy, market position, compliance, innovation and continuous improvement.The role leads on the development and delivery of CHCA's strategic asset and facilities management policy and delivery program.Asset management is a key part of the business process for CHCA that aims to ensure financial resources are appropriately invested in long-term sustainable assets and is linked to the asset maintenance plan for each complex or property.The ACPM will look beyond the traditional property management approach of bricks and mortar or retention and maintenance of existing properties in isolation and will require a thorough understanding of all issues that could affect a property to ensure long-term sustainability: physical structure, economic and demographic needs of a property and its surrounding community.The ACPM will also take a lead role in overseeing growth projects for CHCA, including the management or ownership transfer of properties and new construction or acquisition.The ACPM will also extend the asset maintenance planning to properties managed on behalf of private investors or other agencies either as part of our management arrangement or on a fee-for-service basis.The ACPM will develop an appropriate asset management and life cycle costing database that informs the future financial investment or recommended replacement or disposals of assets that are beyond their economic life.The role will also influence and lead the delivery of high-quality housing maintenance services to our tenants, customers, partners, and communities.The role is key in supporting CHCA to achieve its strategic goals by driving, delivering and monitoring all aspects of strategic asset management and growth project management delivery.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a project manager?How many years of asset management experience do you have?Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment? #J-18808-Ljbffr
