We manufacture and supply a huge range of 4X4 products, accessories, and suspension parts for almost every type of four-wheel drive vehicle on the market.The OpportunityOur facility's CNC Machinist/Programmer reports to the warehouse operations manager and will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and seamless operation.Having sound experience with the operation of Manual and CNC, including:Lathe's and milling machinesProgramming experienceConfident and proficient in running a Samsung 3-axis Lathe and a 3-axis MillSetting and operating CNC Lathes with Fanuc intuitive programming or manual guide I programming.To be successful in this role you MUST also possess the following skills and abilities:Trade qualified Fitter Turner or Machinist, ideally with at least 3 years post trade experienceExperience in general fitting and machining with stainless and/or mild steel fabricationHave experience with Fanuc intuitive programming, ISO, or manual guide I programming.Ability to work unassisted, work to deadlines and produce quality workmanship at all times.Ability to read and follow drawings and work to tight tolerancesA team player with a good attitude who is not afraid of a challengeHave a great work ethic with a 'can do' attitudeBe reliable and willing to commit to the roleBe comfortable in operating more than one machine at a timeWilling to train apprenticeWhat's in it for you?This is a Permanent Full Time position with a 6 month probation period.Normal working hours are Monday to Friday from 6.00am to 3.30pm which includes overtime hours and penalty rates. Some Saturdays are required to be worked, hours varying from 8am to 12am which is paid at overtime rates.The position is available to start immediately, but it is not a requirement.Please do not call our office.
